This is what Yahweh asks of you, only this:-

That you act justly, that you love tenderly, and that you walk humbly with your God.

principal’s message

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our St Xavier’s Website. I’m sure that you will find the site informative but please do not hesitate to contact the school direct if you require any further information.

Here at St Xavier’s we believe parents are the first and prime educators of their children and it is with this in mind that we promote a team work approach to the education of your child.

As all children are unique we recognise the fact that they have a right to develop their individual talents, especially in developing meaningful relationships with God and with fellow human beings.

Our dedicated staff, through their own Christian witness and professionalism, provides a caring and supportive atmosphere which respects the dignity of each child, fosters a genuine love of God and motivates all children to be contributing members of our school and wider community.

St Xavier’s strives to provide high quality education in a safe caring environment for all children, where parents and friends also feel they are part of the school and feel welcome at all times. I feel sure you will be pleased with your choice of our school.

AFTERNOON KISS AND DROP SAFETY CONCERNS
The teachers are becoming increasingly concerned with the number of parents who are putting their children into their car on the drivers side. This is a serious safety concern. PLEASE NOTE children are only to enter the car from the passenger side (closest to the kerb). If this is an issue you might consider parking your car in other areas and walking in to collect your child.
BAN THE U-TURN
It has been observed that some parents are doing u-turns right in front of where the kiss and drop lane meets Henry Street. This is SO DANGEROUS. If you need to turn around please go further down Henry Street or come from the opposite direction and park in Henry street on the school side or use the Kiss and Drop Lane.
Remember Safety First!

Year 5 put Mrs Honner to work in Maths class today. The Principal was the retailer at a Furniture Shop. Mrs Honner was selling fridges, lounges and freezers during a lesson on budgeting! She successfully sold 2 fridges and worked some dodgy deals behind the scenes!
